Biography

Professor Dennis brings over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and extensive expertise as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). With a passion for mental health and holistic care, she integrates her clinical expertise with a focus on advancing patient care and promoting well-being.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in nursing, where her research explores innovative approaches to improving healthcare outcomes and addressing systemic challenges in nursing practice. An advocate for student success, she emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and evidence-based practice in her teaching.

Outside the classroom, she is committed to mentorship, encouraging future healthcare professionals to adopt an empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
